Prayer bead mala strand of 108 carved bone rondell-shaped beads, often used by jewelers and designers to create their own unique finished pieces. Traditionally, these strands are worn and used as prayer beads, each bead marking the repetition of a prayer. This mala is too short to fit over the head and would be used as a hand-mala for prayer.
